Should Look Like Sports
I’m Mark Yessa. Five years of professional work came before this: weddings, ceremonies, real estate and event recaps. Weddings in particular teach you something useful. You get one pass at a room where nothing happens twice, the light is whatever it is, and nobody is doing it again for you.
Tournaments are the same job, faster and colder. The difference is that the people who care most about the photo are standing forty feet away wondering whether anyone got it. That is why the print station exists. A gallery link three weeks later is a receipt. A poster handed to a kid still in their gear is the actual thing.
